ATLANTA, GA. -- AUGUST 31, 2009 - Nexidia, the market-leading provider of audio search and speech analytics solutions, today announced that it has been named the Winner of the 2009 Speech Technology magazine Market Leader Award in the Speech Analytics category for the third consecutive year. Further extending its reputation for delivering the most powerful, flexible and affordable speech analytics solutions in the market, Nexidia was presented with the prestigious award at the magazine's 15th Annual SpeechTEK Conference and Exposition held in New York City from August 24-26.
Established by Speech Technology in 2007, the Market Leader Awards are judged by an independent panel of industry analysts and Speech Technology editors. In the Speech Analytics category, judging was based on three dimensions: accuracy, depth of functionality, and customer satisfaction. In a release announcing award winners, the editors noted that awards are presented for extraordinary efforts made to increase awareness and acceptance of speech technologies and for outstanding accomplishments in bringing new products and services to the marketplace.
"Speech Technology magazine's industry awards are presented for accomplishments that truly stand out," says David Myron, editorial director of Speech Technology magazine. "To be recognized the recipients must have demonstrated real leadership, innovation and achievement."
"Recognition from the premier speech industry publication Speech Technology was based on our consistent stream of well-known companies who are showing positive results with Nexidia speech analytics," said John Willcutts, president and chief executive officer of Nexidia Inc. "The industry continues to expand due to market demand for speech analytics and we're inspired to be acknowledged as the provider that is demonstrably solving customers' issues."
Prior to SpeechTEK 2009, Nexidia announced the release of Nexidia ESP, a new feature in the company's flagship Enterprise Speech Intelligence (ESI) product designed to help contact centers automatically gain visibility into the critical issues that are driving customer calling behavior. The company also solidified its position within the regulatory arena by announcing that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will use Nexidia AudioFinder for reviewing audio content produced in its investigations of a variety of commercial activities. Nexidia has also recently launched Nexidia Enterprise Speech Intelligence (ESI) 8.0, the next generation of its highly-acclaimed contact center analytics software with new features to analyze and improve first call resolution rates for contact centers.
SpeechTEK is the speech technology industry's annual showcase of new products and services. Leading companies from all over the world attend to demonstrate the latest innovations, strategies and applications using speech technology. Additional information on all the 2009 award recipients is published in the September issue of Speech Technology magazine and is available online at http://www.speechtechmag.com/.
